Halloween!

I thought the Halloween Show this year turned out pretty well, took me a little bit to get going, but once again overall I liked it, and had fun. Now, for the first time ever, I am including links to the Mp3s of the show. I'm not really happy with the sound quality of the low Mp3s, but I'll link to them anyway in case size is an issue for ya. Thanks for listening. The logs start early, and I didn't edit these, so more often than not you have 5 min. before and after the hour of overlap.

Hour One (LO)
Hour Two (LO)
Hour Three (LO)
Hour Four (LO)

Here are the high quality Mp3s:

Somewhat less than four hours!

Well got a late start to today's show and it ended up being 3 hours and 20 minutes of music today, I just can't wake up early, or go to bed early for that matter. Hopefully this shorter show thing is not a trend. I plan on doing next weeks show and then I'm gonna skip one because of my Labor Day vacation. Honestly I can't wait to get to Kelley's Island with my girl and her family, should be fun. Maybe after coming back refreshed I will do a long ass show again, then again probably not because next week is the beginning of a new semester, so I will have another show after mine. Hope It's good!

The standard 4 hour show

Hey everybody, just did a four hour show today. Maybe next week I'll actually do some pre-production and have a better/longer show. Nahh, why change what's working, I do almost no pre-production (besides 1 night a week possibly writing a playlist that I don't use), I come in like seconds before I have to be on air and pull music as I play. It just seems too early for me to get into the station before Ten AM, what a whiner I am. So, have a good one, see ya soon, love, Shawn.

How 'Bout Five Hours?

So, I did five hours today considering that there is no DJ after me currently. Brought a whole giant list of records to pull, only to not pull any of them, OK I did play gang Green from that list, but that's about it. Maybe next time I'll pull out the whole Hawkwind/Motorhead/Runaways/Lita Ford/Joan Jett set. And/or The Public Enemy/EPMD thing I wanted to do, "98 Olds"/"Never Seen Before". Oh Well, had fun anyway, until next time.

Six Hours

Since Josh Beyer's show isn't on the time it was all summer, I was able to do a six hour long show today. I was kind of hitting my stride in the middle there, then had to catch up with alot of stuff near the end (logs and such). Pretty fun overall though. You can see the playlist here: http://playlistsforaminutepause.blogspot.com/ I started doing that when the WRCT website was broken a long time ago, but now the website has been re-done and they just haven't added the view current playlist yet. Time to file records. Bye.

New Show This Tuesday!

Yeah, I know, I took one whole day off my show, which amounts to a whole week off the air. Now I'm back, and I can't tell you how psyched I am about my show and the spring semester. Not that I go to school or anything, but it is time to find out the time slot for my show this semester and I should know by Sun...

We're still on random schedule, I'm still doing my show, except for that last week fluke (Well maybe not that much of a fluke, I was hungover). But will be rocking in a free studio on Tuesday Jan. 13th, 2009!

Coming up soon: Josephine Impola, River Moon Cafe, live on air interview.

New year, new shows

I've been thinking about playlists.

OK, so... I pulled 1 record from every level of my hip hop collection and I want you to choose what random record from my library gets played on the show. Please make a choice from the 12" records on the side bar. I litteraly pulled a random record from every level in my collection, I can't believe I didn't get a Biggie or Wu-tang record, I swear those are two levels in my record collection - oh, wait, Meth is Wu-tang. Peace God.

A more functional blog

So... I was blogging on Myspace, just out of convenience (AKA laziness). I now realize that you can't directly get to the blog, and people either love, or hate, or endure it. I was going to make a page for my radio show, so why not here? I'll tell you why... I don't know, that's why. So welcome to my blog.
